La Petite Ceinture is an abandoned railway line that circles the centre of Paris. This was a collaboration with photographer Peter Crowder - we explored this contentious space, which due to the closure of the railway line no longer has a prescribed use. We were looking for signs of use, signs of personalisation and people adapting the space for their own needs.

The above photos capture these signs, and the atmosphere of the space as it stands now. In contrast, the below experimental stop motion attempts to revisit the space as it was once experienced, in linear movement along the train tracks.
